Good ol' Ani diFranco. Not, it's not true--I don't covet another man's wife. I just love that line from her song "Shameless."
Not much going on in my little world. Thanks Nic and Alex for replying to my previous post; I really appreciate it.
Let's see, I'm working on Chapter 3 of Fujikage Journeys, so yeah, I'll see about giving y'all a sneak peek of it.
Went to see a production of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, which was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also got to see Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children at the insistence of Rin. I must say that while I'm completely clueless when it comes to FF, I really enjoyed this movie! I needed Rin to clarify a few things, but overall, it's got a wonderful storyline with memorable characters and some nice humor. I also saw Walk the Line (interesting movie), Bee Season (weird, but interesting), Mission: Impossible 2 (the first movie was much better!), and Memoirs of a Geisha (amazing film with gorgeous cinematography).
Got a haircut. Some have said it looks like a mushroom, others have said they like it. Whatever--at least I got all that hair off the back of my neck. It was driving me nuts. And I may go to a crawfish boil this Saturday if a friend of mine agrees to go with me. Should be interesting, especially since I know there will be alcohol there, and we don't really drink. We'll see.
